It declared Mrs. Pattangall was surprised sur-prised to find her name signed to a letter let-ter intimating u desire that Mr. White resign as committee chulrman. A request re-quest by Thomas B. Ixve, of Texas, for authority to sign her name to his letter asking for an early meeting of the full committee had been granted, she said, "but there was no supgestlon of anything other than a mere request for u get-together meeting." |
