C Sl-moDsen Sl-moDsen family celebrated a uniquo Joint Christmas Sunday, It being the fourteenth annual celebration held by tbepp families and It was a huge success A bounteous dinner was served at f p. m Immediately after ilinnor all the grownups, who wore not occupied with the dinner, proceeded to trim tho Christmas tree. The Little ones did not se the tree until It was complete In all Its glory. Then the children marched In and Christmas rarolB were sung. Santa happened to appear at just the right time and e eryone, large and small, was remembered remem-bered with some little token The celebration was a regular annual event at the Slmomsen home Twenty-sbc Twenty-sbc participated this year and all had a most enjoyablo evening. Mrs Fred C. Hulqulst was guest of honor at a prettily appointed luncheon , Tufday afternoon, given bv tho Ladles' Aid and Missionar society at the home of Mrs. Orson Hudson. Luncheon was served at small tables and was followed by "five hundred " Mr? Hulqulst received the guost prize and Mrs Ben Abramson won the high score prlzo. Twenty-five guests were present. Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs Thomas Young on Tuesday afternoon were Mr and Mrs A E Bowen of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs John and Edith Bowen of Logan. Mr and Mrs. LeRoy B Young, Miss Stella Young and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoi man. Mr. and Mrs. William Sheffield entertained en-tertained at a dinner Monday after noon and evening at their home The rooms were decorated In Christmas colors and a basket of fruit centered the dinner table Covers were laid for twenty five guests A surprise party was given Muss Mary Hoist at her home by twenty-one twenty-one of her friends Games, musical elections and social chat were features fea-tures of the evening's entertainment. A dainty tray luncheon was served. Mrs. Augusta Malmrose entertained at a Christmas dinner Saturday evening eve-ning at her home. Mr and Mrs. Alma Erlcksen, Mr. 5 and Mrs Mlchad Erlcksen of Beaver-dam Beaver-dam and Mr and Mrs. Joseph Bitter 7 and Mrs George Bitter of Rexburg M are. spending the holidays with Mr. and Mrs George Facer. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shad of Salt Lake City arc spending the holidays in this city,, visiting at the home of B Sirs, Shad's parents, Mr and Mrs D. L Roes. Mra.
