DEMOS T8 FACE FRAUD CHARGES Ogden Storekeeper Captured in St. Louis Returns Here Today Basil demos, charged with obtaining obtain-ing money under false pretenses w hile conducting a. store In Ogden, was this morning brought back to tho city to await trial, after hav ing been captured In St. Louis Mo Deputy Sheriff Dick Wootton brought Hie prisoner here and lodged him In the county jail. Demos will be faced with many! other charge.i within a few days, It Is' said. He Is alleged to have extended his credit to tho limit before selling! his stock of goods In the store and, after he received the monev for the goods, backed a truck to the rear doorl and hauled the store contents away. He dlsnnpeared from Ogden last fall, and was arrested a few days ago by St. Louis officers.
