Show Forest Service Funds Forwarded to State SALT LAKE. Sept 2o. A check for 165,610.92 was received by Governor Simon Bamberger yesterday from the I'nited states department of agriculture, agricul-ture, the check representing 25 per cent of the receipts of the national fon st s. rslee from the administration In Utah An act of congress provides that this money shall be divided among arlous counties of the state In proportion to the respective national forests in each county. Tho receipts of the state, classified by the forests from which thoy came, are as follows: Ashley. J38S0 86. Cacho, $3442.41. nixie. $1579.66. Fillmore. $6095. .17, Fish Lake, Cf30 93, La Sal. 4657.78, Mantl, $901 1.36; Minidoka, $978.79, Powell, 14778.92; Sevier. 45870.18; Uintah. $12,165.69, Wasatch, 6509.87. Salt Lake county shares with sSwersJ neighboring counties the receipts from the Wasatch forest The distribution among the counties will be made later by the state auditor. |
