Cullon, who" died at the home of his : daughter in that city on Saturday. He had been sick for a year from the cf-: cf-: fects of influenza. ' Mr. Cull en was born in Ireland but .came to this country at the age of 11 'years, lauding at Boston. He sLirtcd west, arriving at St. Joseph in 18G5, where- for two years ho drove stage between St. Joseph and Denver before Ihe railway was buIlL I In 18G7 ho went to work for the Union Pacific at Julcsburg, Colo., and in 1809 took charge of the yards at I Sidney. Neb. In 1873 he came to Ev-anston, Ev-anston, Wyo.. where he took charge I of the yards at that point. In 1S7G Mr. Cullon came to Ogden and took charge of the local yards 'where ho remained for over 30 years until retired on pension by the Harrl-1 Harrl-1 man system. At one time he was elected city coun-cilnmn coun-cilnmn of tho Second ward and sorvtro fcr two year? In ihe passing cf Mr. Cullen th country loses one of the pioneer roi' way men of the west. He is survived by the following children: chil-dren: Mrs. Elizabeth Evans, Ogden; J. J. Cullon, Elko, Nov.; Mrs. Lucv Pouts, San Francisco; M. J. Cullon, West Wcbr: J. W.
