Show CHICAGO GRAIN- ) v. j CHICAGO. Jan. 21. Unfavorable weather led to new upturns today In the price of com. The outlook in other respects too appeared to be against a quick rebuilding of supplies here, and; the strength of the hog market tended likewise to give firmness to corn. Buying, Buy-ing, however, was of only a scattered sort. Opening prices, which ranged from Y& to c higher, with May $1-34 $1-34 to 1.35U and July $1.33 to 1.33U. were followed by a moderate additional advance in some cases. Oats hardened with corn. After opening unchanged to J,ic higher, including in-cluding May at S2 to 93c, the market continued to show a disposition to rise. Provisions were weak, reflecting depression de-pression of foreign exchange. There was rather heavy selling of. lard by carriers and commission houses. CHICAGO QUOTATIONS. CHICAGO, Jan. 21.
