Show OOTIM PARK LOOMS ' Action on the proposed road between 1 Weber canyon and Oakley, on the I Weber river, will bo taken by the j state next week, according to word ' received from J. P. Martin, district engineer. The road will also run between be-tween Haydon's fork on the Bear river to the mouth of Weber canyon. An estimated cost of the road Is $120,000 and indications are that this road will be included in the 1920 road program of the state and forest service. Mr. Martin said that this road would serve as a direct connection between Ogden and Holiday park in the Wasatch Was-atch forest. It will also open a vast area suitable for camping and summer home sites. Hunting and fishing In the region which is being opened is reported to be exceptionally fine. The request for the road was originally origin-ally made by Summit county. Since the application, however, such interest has been shown in the proposed road that it will probably bo among the first to be started next season! nn |
