Show Y. W. C. A CARES FOR REFUGEES IN ORIENT The care of 80,000 Russian refucces, old men, little children and women, young and old, has fallen upon the -W C. A. Most of these refugees fallowed fal-lowed the Czechs across Russia and Siberia and into Vladivostok. Miss Ethel Fonda of Texas, who was general secretary of the Tokio Y. W. C. A., accompanied Miss Matrhew when she left Japan, as did also three stenographers; a dietician and a social worker. Many of the refugees were Czechs who deserted the Austrian army and oin d the Bolshevik!.
