Show TWO EIRE ALARMS Gas escaping from pipes, said by the fire department to be poor connections, connec-tions, ignited at the home of J. O. Briscoe, 235 Healy avenue, last night and caused a blaze. The fire department depart-ment was called and. after considerable consider-able effort the flames were checked and the escape of gas stopped. The house was not seriously damaged. Yesterday afternoon the department responded to a call on East Canyon road to extinguish flames that were destroying an old U- I. C. street car. The car was ignited by flames originating orig-inating in a grass fire. |
