Show DM HO SHOWS MIY NEW GOWNS AT UTAH "Fools and Their Money," one of j the cleverest coinedydaramas of the ' season, was shown to a large audience audi-ence at the Utah theater yesterday with Emmy Wehlen in a role of distinctive dis-tinctive individuality. The play tells the story' of an ambitious ambi-tious social climber, the wife of a newly new-ly made munitions millionaire who mistakes the daughter of an ultra-aristocratic ultra-aristocratic family on the adjoining estate es-tate for a servant. This girl, Louise Allenby, sees her opportunity for an adventure and, as her parents' secretary secre-tary for the rich pravenues. Her experiences are many and varied, var-ied, and' end by her realizing that the son of these newly-rich is a virile, red-blooded red-blooded young man far above the average aver-age of her own set. A romance ensues which ends in a marriage between the blue-blooded aristocrat and the red-blooded red-blooded real man. . |
