This dra matic incident in the court came today when Woodard entered a plea of guilty to the charge of assault upon David J White at the Scofield barber rhop In entering a plea of guilty, Roy Woodard announced to the court that he had resigned as business agent ot the Teamsters' union and that the men who were formerly back of him and urged him to commit the various of-fenses of-fenses and urged him to fight the cases, now have forsaken him and made him "the coat." The men, he said, who had promised to assist him I financially had refused to do ?o and j that it wns necessary to defend him-selt him-selt out of his own pocket.
