Show DAMAGES 111 0. F. PACE CASE TO BE SETTLED FOR m A petition for an order authorizing the administratrix of the ostato of 1 Byron F. Pace. Jr.. who died from Injuries In-juries received on tho Ogden, Logan & Idaho railroad about October 28. 1917, to compromise her claim for damages against tho railroad company, was filed today in the district court The petition relates that the administratrix, adminis-tratrix, Mrs. Pate, widow of the deceased, de-ceased, and the railroad company have agreed that ?2500 is fair damages for tho death of Mr. Paco and asks that tho order be granted allowing a settlement set-tlement for this amount. The petition states that it' has been proved that Mr. Pace was injured through his own negligence and not particularly because of negligence of the company. Tho dead man was caught between two4cars on tho Washington Wash-ington avenue lino of tho company and his sldo was terribly crushed. His wife later asked for letters of administration administra-tion for herself and declared tho estate of tho dead man to consist of a claim for damages against the railroad company. com-pany.
