Show DELAY li MIL OFMfflH J. T. Smith, of the 'Smith Bedding companv, has been hovering the freight offices since December 15 In an effort to learn when a carload of machinery ma-chinery will arrive. The car is delaying delay-ing the operations of the new factory. "According to the information I receive," re-ceive," said Mr. Smith, "the car left Philadelphia December 1. It was in Chicago on January 10. It is not known when it arrived in Chicago and become a part of the congestion in that terminal. Neither is it definitely known when it will start on Its last lap for destination. It seriously interferes inter-feres with my plans." The car is loaded with machinery for the manufacture of mattresses. According Ac-cording to Mr. Smith, if the car arrives ar-rives within the next few days, he will ' be able to secure the services of ex-. ex-. . . . .
