Announcement was sent to the city exemption board today that these two men had enlisted and that their names would not, therefore, be subject to tho draft call. Mr. Beck, formerly a motion picture photographer with tho Ogden Feature Film company, applied for onlistmont In this branch of tho service soniG time ago but did not hear from the examining office. He later joined the signal enlisted reserve corps and will go to a ground school for preliminary training In the art of flying. Mr. Beck has had considerable mechanical experience. ex-perience. Sidney G. Winter also applied for tho aviation service this summer while in tho east, but was not accepted. He later was examined for tho signal corps of tho aviation service and accepted. ac-cepted. Ho will servo as a clerk. Announcement of tho enlistment of Gillos J. L. Vernieuwo in the signal crops was also made to tho Ogden exemption ex-emption board.
