This applies to both electric and steam roads and Is in line with the conservation- policy adopted in. other ways. The change simply means that .shippers must get their goods to the station' before 4 p. m., if they expect to have them accepted ac-cepted for shipment The following notice to this effect was , issued yesterday by .the Utah Freight Bureau', Salt Lake City: ' - "Local Utah Freight Bureau, Salt Lake City, Utah; comprising the following fol-lowing Ogden lines: Bamberger Electric Elec-tric Railroad company, Denver & Rio Grande Railroad company, Ogdep, Logan & Idaho Railway company, Oregon Short Lino Railroad company, Southern Pacific company, Union Pacific Pa-cific Railroad company. C. H. Griffin, chairman. "Notice to shippers: Notice is hereby here-by given that on and after Novomber 5, 1917, the closing hour for receiving outgoing freight at the several Qgden freight stations by all railroads named above will be 4 p. m., C.
