Show MEATLESS TUESDAYS AID IEATLESS WEDNESDAYS A movement is on foot to institute "Meatless TuesdayB" and "Wheatless Wednesdays" among the restaurants and cafes of Ogden. Notices are being prepared to be sent to all proprietors of these places in tho city, to arrange for a meeting to decide the question. The practice has been adopted in all of the leading cities of the country coun-try and it is thought by those here who are back of the movement that the proprietors of the eating places in Ogden Og-den should bo placed on the list of those willing to conserve for the nation na-tion and her allies. A date for the meeting to be called will be announced as soon as responses have been received re-ceived from the letters being mailed within tho next two or three days. In speaking of the great saving that can be made in this way, John C. Lynch, proprietor of the Healy hotel, stated that if the people will only stop to think for a moment, they can readily read-ily see what a wonderful saving can be made in Ogden in just one day. |
