Thrown In I Ihe pavement, according to witnesses, j when hi3 motorcycle struck an automobile auto-mobile at the intersection of Thirteenth Thir-teenth East street and Yale avenue. A. R. Urc, 20 years old, of 1167 Crystal place, was perhaps fatally Injured last I night. I Urc, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. ! A. S. Ure of 723 West South Temple , street, is said to have been going south I on Thirteenth East at considerable j speed, when ho collided with an auto-1 mobile truck driven by W. C. Grant of S55 South First West street, in addition ad-dition to whom the truck was occupied occu-pied by J. C. Bowen, Jr. of 637 Sixth East, and R. E. Ross of 363 Harrison ' avenue. The injured man was picked up by Ross, while. Bowon telephoned for the police ambulance, in which Ure was ' taken to the emergency hospital by 1 Sergeant J. H. Wsuden anJ Pauoi j man Thomas Gillespie. Examination there disclosed the fact thai he was suffering from a fracture at tho base , of the skull, and that his entire body i from his ankles to the shoulders was a mass of lacerations and bruises. The motorcycle was wrecked, while the truck escaped with small damage. |
