Another1 committee amendment to the manpower man-power bill, adopted by tho senate today, to-day, provides that men under 21 shall not be denied commissions or entrance ; Lo officers' training camps because of: their youth. Tho amendment propos-Ig propos-Ig education of not moro than two years for men enlisted or drafted un-rlcr un-rlcr 21 caused considerable discussion. Senator Smoot objected that no edu-j cational plan should be worked outj and no cost estimate given.
