Show IWIITE PIES NOT LIE ST. CLAIR AND WILL ENDEAVOR 1 TAKE IE CONCEIT OUT Of HUE I, Not in many years has a sporting ; ! event created such flaming interest m : Ogden as the big twenty-round bout that will be held at tho Armory hall tomorrow night, between Eddie White , of San Francisco and Willie St. Clair, the fast colored scrapper from Salt Lako City. St, Clair has been going like a house on fire and when ho punched Jimmy Reagan around tho ring in Salt Lako a few weeks ago and handed the famous Jimmy a more terrific ter-rific beating than Pat Gilbert did in their twenty-round bout, his stock took a tremendous jump. Both White and St Clair are to try and end the bout tomorrow night by a knockout. It is a sure bet that the bout will be a give-and-take afrair until one of the boys goes down. White does not like the colored boy a little bit and he says, "The coon is too conceited con-ceited and I am going to take It out of him and knock his block off " With a white and a colored boy in the ring, the fans are sure to sec a winner. For tho third man in the ring, botfc boys havo chosen Frank Armstrong ol Salt Lake. Frank is very popular with tho fans and it is certainty that a rattling good fight and decision will be given. Frank has a way of making the boys step faster and a winner is almost always seen. Two fast preliminaries will start the big events at 8:30 sharp. |
