IUKO BR01 OIES AT OGDEN ROME Alonzo W. Brown, 70 years of age, died of heart failure at 2 o'clock this morning, at the family residence, G39 Twenty-second street, after an illness of less than three hours. Mr. Brown was formerly a member of the city council of Ogden for a number of years and was proprietor of the Ogden Iron & Gas Works, Twenty-first street. Mr Brown was born in Romney, N. H , February 23, 1848. He came lo Utah in 1S72 as a telegraph operator for the Union Pacific railroad. He was married 4S years ago. Ho was a member of the Masonic lodge, Knight Templars and Knights of Pythias and is survived by his widow and two sisters. sis-ters. Mrs. II. H. Spencer and Mrs. Isella Tyree, both of Ogden.
