Nicholas and Byron Thurmond. Mrs. Chas. Hudson was Hostess to the U.G.I. G. club Thursday at her home in Copperfield. Five-hundr-was played. Mrs. James Denver won first prize, Mrs. O. C. Jones won sec-ond prize. A two course luncheon was served to Mrs. Ray Buckle", Mrs. O C. Jones, Mrs. Geo. Johnson, Mrs. Miles McDonald, Mrs. Basil Doman, Mrs. James Denver, Mrs.. Janebelle Sullivan, Mrs. Ivan Terry, Mrs. W. E. Scott, Mrs. Howard Fisher, Mrs. A. O. Mugfur and Mrs. Wm. Kilms. Mr, and Mrs. Byron Thurmond left on a twb weeks vacation at Yellow-stone Park. Mr. aqd Mrs. Dee Adams have an-nounced the engagement of their daughter' Margaret, to Garth Jones, on of Mr. and Mrs.' Alma Jones of Highland Boy. The young couple are , among Bingham's popular Young set. Mits Adams is well known in musical circles, being a member of the Synco-pating Sailor's Orchestra. She is also a danctr of note, having appeared many time .in school programs, the local theatre and elsewhere. Mr. Jones ws graduated from the Bing-- . 1mm High school and attended the University of Utah last year. The . marriage of the young couple will take r lace August 31t. Mrs. James A Wright was the guest of honor at a luncheon given by Mrs. Tom Masters at her home Wednesday of last week. Covers were laid for Mr. Ray Kenner, Mrs. Wilford Har-ris, Mrs. Arthur Cook, Mrs. Ed. John-son, Mrs. Clive Siddoway and Mrs. Wright. Mrs. Mark Hansen entertained the Just-a-Me- re club last Tuesday after-noon. Bridge was the diverson. Mrs. Hebe Nichols won first prize, Mrs. Dan Sullivan, second, and Mrs. John elect. Five-hundr- was the diversion. Mrs. Alma Jonea won high score and Miss 'Adeline Kunz the confutation. Luncheon was served to Mrs. Dee Adams, Mrs. Alma Jones, Mrs. A. T. Williams, Mrs. Josh Carpenter. Miss Adams received many beautiful gift. Mrs. Alec Long and Mrs. Frank Mead were hostesses at a Five-hundr-party honoring Miss Vcrda Mork, Monday evening. Mrs. Cora Hill won first prize and Mr. Thelma Sessions the consolation. A two course luncheon was served to Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Sessions, Mrs. Mitchell, Mrs. Zcll Robbins, Mra. Frank Peter-son, Mrs. Gene Hoops and Mrs. Cle-on- e Bowers of Salt Lake City. The Jolly Five-hundr- club met with 'Mrs. William Wallace at her home at Telegraph Thursday after-noon of last week.
