Show PROFITEERS TO BE ROUGHLY HANDLED BY THE U. S. Profiteers in every branch of business busi-ness will be subjected to a great showing up in tho future, according to A. B. Foulgor of the Paine and Hurst storo who returned yesterday from the east where he went on a buying trip. Ho was accompanied by Miss Winifred Wini-fred Wotherspoon, who also was engaged en-gaged In buying for tho company. Mr. Foulger declared the government govern-ment had started n lively campaign to ferret out the profiteers and would deal harshly with thoso caughL He said that travel conditions arc improving and no difficulty is expected expect-ed this year in handling largo orders, duo to railroad congestion. Business is good throughout tho cast, Mr. Foulger said, and tho prospects pros-pects for the next few months are reassuring. |
