Show uu British Strikers WI Be Drafted Into tlie Army LONDON, July 25. The British war cabinet has decided that if the British munition strike continues the strikers of military age will bo drafted promptly prompt-ly into the army, according to an unofficial un-official statement printed in morning newspapers. The government remains firm in its refusal to withdraw the embargo which ostensibly is the cause of the strike. Events are now awaiting the national nation-al conference of the delegates of the engineering trades which, it Is understood, under-stood, meets at Leeds today. nn |
