Show JEWS ARETOBE REPRESENTED PHILADELPHIA, Dec 16 A com-' com-' mitteo to prosent the claims of tho ' United Jowery of the World will be sent to the peace conference abroad. Judge William J. Mack of Chicago, who was elected president of the American Ameri-can Jewish congress at the opening session of tho meetings being' hold here, made this announcement at today's to-day's session. Today's session of the congress, which is meeting here for the purpose of defining methods whereby, in cooperation co-operation with the Jews of the world, full rights may be secured for the Jews and all laws discriminating against them may be abrogated, was given over to the adoption of the various va-rious rules which will govern the pro' ceedings. Delegates are in attendance from all parts of the United States. Judge Mack was requested to call on the state department at Washington to cable to the British government a pledge of co-operation of the Jews of the United States In- establishing a national na-tional home for Jews in Palestine. Copies Cop-ies of the cablegram will be sent to France, Italy, Greece, Serbia and Hoi-land. |
