Show CAIERS GO EAST TO COIEITIO! AT BOSTON Gcorgo Goddard, secretary of the Goddard Packing company, left Saturday Satur-day night for Boston to attend tho annual an-nual convention of the National Can-nera' Can-nera' association. The convention convenos in that city today and will be in session until Friday evening. Ogden and this section will havo a delegation of fourteen well known business men and representatives of canning companies at tho convention. A largo number left over the Union! Pacific, Saturday, Feb. 2. The party Included William Van Alen, H. L. Hcrrington, J. Q. Lcavltt, J. G. Leonard. Leon-ard. Joseph Wright. J. W. Wheeler, W. J. Parker, Gage Rodman, David E. Randall, all of Ogden. and Mr. and Mrs. Josoph Anderson, Morgan, and Richard Strlngham, Woods Cross. C. H. Thorstenscn and George Thorstcnscn, of tho Ogden Utah Knitting Knit-ting company, left with the party. They went only as far as Chicago. |
