Show uu MANY UTAH MEN TO SEE EARLY SERVICE CAMP LEWIS. TACOMA, Nov. 19. Official permission was given at the office of Major General H. A. Greene at Camp Lewis today to announce the fact that 8000 national army men, many of whom were from Utah and Idaho, mainly third and fourth quota men, have been transferred from Camp Lewis to other camps, and may see service in France before the men of the Nineteenth division. Names of tho places to where the men were sent is being withheld. The last of the 8000 troops left Camp Lewis a week ago. The movement was in progress for eight days. |
