Show TWO YOUNG MEN ARE FOID IT GUILTY OF DR1KEME& Lloyd Stalllngs and Arthur Durham were found not guilty of being intoxicated, intoxi-cated, when arraigned in police court this morning. Tho two young men wore arrested by Officer I. C. Canfleld last evening on the city hall park. They had been drinking, so Uie officer testified, testi-fied, from a flask, which they threw away as he approached. The boys strenuously denied the charge and, as tho officer did not state definitely that they were Intoxicated, they were found not guilty and dismissed with the warning that a second arrest on the charge would go hard with them. Oscar Burbes, of foreign accent, was fined $50 for drunkenness. There was no doubt as to his condition, according to Ofllcer Canfleld, who arrested him. The man was arrested in the depot on orders of the depot master, who reported re-ported the matter to Canfield. Burbes pleaded not guilty, saying his condition was duo to being considerably shaken up on the train as he was coming to Ogden. |
