A "fooi police force" to serve without pay, and to watch for, guard against, aad report violations of regulatioas for tho uh of food laid down by tho state food commissioner and his subordinate-, has been organized here and operate! daily. The new force, which is the Idea ol Louis M. Cole, city food administrator, t is headed by a general committee o( twelve men, who will be directly re- 1 sponsible to Mr. Cole for tho enforcs-ment enforcs-ment of all federal regulations regarding regard-ing food. Each of the twelve men ha ; in turn selected a sub-committee ol ten, and these men havo certain eq-tlons eq-tlons of the city assigned to them lor inspection. The sub-commltteomen will be required re-quired to sec that all food dealers b their respective sections are ke?-posted ke?-posted on the rules and given promp notico of any changes.
