RESPONSE II S EXEMPTl BOARD In response to the letter received recently by the city exemption board, to the effect that there was a shortage of four men at Camp Kearny on the quota to be furnished by Ogden city on the first draft, a copy of the record of the quotas sent on the different dates of last fall has been forwarded to the adjutant general. This record shows that thirty-seven men were sent to Camp Lewis and thirty-two accepted for service, tho other five being rejected for physical defocts. Two were sent September 2, fourteen on September 20, thirteen on October 4, one on October 27, ono on October 27, and six on November 13.
