Show I DESTRUCTIVE FIRES TO' BE GUARDED AGAINST In order to prevent tho loss of food I stuffs from destructive fires, tho Fed- I eral Food Administrator for Utah ur- ! gontly recommends and requests that those directly concerned observe the ! following regulations: j ! 1st, That, for tho purpose of elim- ' inating fires, every railroad appoint j j a man, or men, to carefully inspect ij , spark arresters, or other equipment, Jm 'on engines before they leave tho term- j ;inal for a trip;, and keep a record of j such Inspection which can bo referred j 'to at any time by our duly authorized 'agent, in the event that it becomes Jj ; necessary to investigate the origin of Pi ; the fire. 18' j 2nd. That the farmers set their E' I wheat shocks back at least one hun- j dred feet from the railroad fence, and I plow a fire guard of at least three fur- j rows between tho shocks and the rail- t. road track.
