Show NOTICE OF INTENTION Notice is hereb given by the Board of Commissioners of Ogden City, LJtah, of the intention of said Board of Commissioners to mako the following follow-ing described improvement, to-w It : 1. To pave the roadway of the following fol-lowing streets and avenues with one and one-half (1) inches asphalt wearing surface and one and one-half (lVfc) Inches asphalt binder course on B six (6) Inch cement concrete foundation: foun-dation: Twenty -seventh Street between be-tween Jefferson and Madison Avenues, Ave-nues, Twenty-eighth Street between Wall and Madison Avenues, Adams Avenue between Twenty-fourth and Twenty-eighth Streets, and Jefferson Avenue between Twenty-seventh and Thirtieth Streets. 2. To Construct curbs and gutters on both sides of Jefferson Avenue between be-tween Twenty-eighth and Thirtieth Streets. 3. To extend six-inch sewer laterals later-als and water service pipes from the mains to the curb line at the expense of the Individual owners opposite the lots or houses not now supplied with such connections. The above Improvements to include the necessary grading therefor, also the construction of concrete con-crete round comers, sidewalks, curbs and gutters, culverts, irrigation and drainage systems, and all other things necessary to complete the whole according ac-cording to the plans and specifications specifica-tions and profiles on file in the office of the City Engineer. And to defray the whole of the cost and expense of the abuttor's portion thereof by a levy of a special tax to be assessed upon the lots or pieces of ground within the following described district, dis-trict, being the district to be affected and benefited by such improvement, namely: All the land lying between the outer boundary lines of said streets and a line drawn fifty feet back from and parallel to said outer boundary lines on both sides of Twenty-seventh Street between Jefferson and Madison Avenues, both sides of Twenty-eighth Street between Wall and Madison Avenues, both sides of Adams Avenue between Twenty-fourth and Twenty-eighth Streets, and on both sides of Jefferson Avenue between be-tween Twenty-seventh and Thirtieth Streets, being Lots 1 and 10. Block 26; Lots 2. 3, 4, 5 and 6, Block 27; Lots 1. 7. 8, 9 and 10, Block 17; Lots 5 and 6, Block 16; Lots 1 and 10, Block 12; Lots 2, 3. 4, 5 and 6. Block 13; Lots 1. 2. 7, 8. 9 and 10, Block 3; Lots 1. 2, 3. 4, 5, 6 and 10. Block 2; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4. 5. 6 and 7. Block 1; Lots 1. 2. 3. 4 and 5. Block 14; Lots 1. 2. 3. 4 and 5. Block 4; Lots 1 and 2, Block 5; Lots 1, 2, 3. 4 and 5, Block 6, all of the above being in Plat "A" of Ogden City Survey; also on Lots 2, 3. 4, 5, 6. part of an unnumbered lot, and Lot 27, Block 4. South Ogden Survey; Lots 9 . 12. 21 and 35, Block 10, South Ogden Survey. Lots 1 and 2. Block 5. Woodmansee's Addition; and Lots 1, 2. 3, 4 and 5, Block 6, Woodmansee's Addition, all in Ogden City Survey. The estimated cost of each water connection is ?20.00. The estimated cost of each sewer! connection is $30.00. The estimated cost of constructing I curbs and gutters on both sides of Jef-i lerson Avenue between Twenty-eighth I and Thirtieth Streets, together with the necessary grading, round corners,, and pipes, is S4.o00.00. The estimated cost as given below does not include the cost of constructing construct-ing private sewer and water connec tions nor me cost 01 constructing curbs and gutters, round corners, etc., on both sides of Jefferson Avenue between be-tween Twenty-eighth and Thirtieth Streets, which costs are to be assessed against the property benefited in addition ad-dition to the regular assessment. The total cost of said improvement is estimated at $118,200.00. All protests or objections to such improvement or to tho carrying out of such intention must be presented in uriting signed by the owners of abutliriL; properiv describing the same together with the number of abutting front feet and be filed with tho City Recorder on or before the 5th day of Februarv . 1017. The Board of Commissi . ners. at its first regular meeting thereafter, to-wlt, the 6th day of February, 1917, will consider the proposed levy and hear ana consider such protests or objections to said Improvement as shall have been made.
