Show Charming Ogden Girl Becomes Bride of A. Bruce Hamilton On August Eighth . Vioing with the exquisite sunset and the effect of the aurora borealls or Ogden's skies last Wednesday eve nipg, were the brilliant and vari-col-ored electric lights combined with picturesque pic-turesque Japanese lanterns and effective effec-tive parasols prettily arranged from the trees about the lawn of the J. D. Harris home, 2958 Grant avenue, where an Interesting wedding occurred. oc-curred. Miss Opal Vllate Wiggins, charming daughter of Mrs. J. D. Harris, and A. Bruce Hamilton, son of Mrs. Sadie Devlin, wore married, the ceremony being performed by Bishop Nathan A. I Tanner. About 7:30 o'clock the guests began to arrive and at 8 the wedding cere-I cere-I mony occurred. The bridal pa,rty I stood beneath an archway which had I been decorated with fragrant pink and 'white sweet peas and gladiolia blos-1 blos-1 soms entwined with smtlax and fern with streamers of pink and white tulle. Each colonade was graced with , a lovely vase of gladioli, sweet peas and ferns. The bride was a picture in a gown ' of whito chiffon cloth and lace with picot edge and carrying a bouquet of 1 sunburst roses and baby breath tied j with malino. Her bridesmaid, Miss I 'Anna Holdon, wore a dainty gown of pink chiffon cloth trimmed with blue rosebuds. She carried a pretty bou-1 quet of pink roses with fluffy bow of mallne. The groom was attended by Earl Folkman. Nearly one hundred guests witnessed the wedding ceremony cere-mony and were entertained in a delightful de-lightful manner afterward throughout tho home and on the lawn. The rooms were pretty in a decorative scheme of pink and white with vases and Jardinieres Jardi-nieres of summer flowers and ferns artistically placed. Out-of-doors, how-over, how-over, called the majority and on the lawn where the Herman Griffin orchestra or-chestra gave a splendid program of popular selections, the guests enjoyed dancing. The many colored lights and Japanese lanterns in bright colors lent a pretty glow over the entire assemblage. assem-blage. Pink and white bunting was draped about the porch and across the lawn to the neighboring house. Between Be-tween the two homes an immense American flag was hung forming an appropriate background for the table where punch, mints and candies were served during the evening by tho Misses Johnson ajid Aileen Smith. Delicious De-licious and daintily prepared refreshments refresh-ments wore also served on the lawn beneath large Japanese parasols. An Interesting feature was the display dis-play of gifts 'tendered the bride and groom by their many friends. Many lovely pieces of cut glass,- china, silverware, sil-verware, etc.. were placed In a room of the Harris home and were the cynosure cyno-sure of all eyes.
