Mrs. T. Earl Pardoe, assisted by her sister, Mrs. Leslie. C. West, gave a charming luncheon today In compliment to Miss O'Neill, where sixteen guests wore seated around a flower-laden table and good cheer and good wishes foretold ( the coming happy event. I Miss Ella O'Noill. whose marriage , to Roland B. Ballantyne was recently' announced.' presided today at a very Interesting tea at her home on Jefferson Jeffer-son avenue. It was a trousseau tea, and about fifty of Miss O'Neill's closo friends were there to enjoy n glimpse i of the pretty things made ready for the wedding, which Is to occur on Tuesday ovenlng, August 14. The O'Neill home was redolent with sweet peas and the tea table was attractive at-tractive in pink and green. Members of the family presided at the urn. On Friday afternoon Mrs. Paul Mor-rissey Mor-rissey entertained at a Kensington for Miss Ella O'Neill. Many friends en-Joyed en-Joyed the afternoon with this young matron and her guest of honor. |
