Show BRITISH WOMEN TO BE GIVEN SUFFRAGE LONDON, March 28, 7:25 a. m.-An important debate is set for the house of commons today in reference to a reform of the parliamentary franchise A conference held recently, which was presided over by the speaker, recommended recom-mended the following program' "A certain measure of woman suffrage, suf-frage, six months' residence or the occupation oc-cupation of business premises to be the only qualifications for voting, redistribution re-distribution of seats, proportional representation rep-resentation in large urban areas, all elections to be held on one day." Former rremier Asquith will move today for prompt legislation to give effect to these recommendations. Prel mier Lloyd George is expected to support sup-port the motion and to indicate the government's approval of woman suffrage. suf-frage.
