Prices showed a slightly increased in-creased tendency to ease off, but a downward slant of late has been the plain course of prices. 1 For a long time, too, the amount of trading done has been hardly more than enough to establish quotations. This morning's business, if possible, was oven more limited in volume and the pit was virtually vir-tually deserted. After opening 1 cent ower to $2.11 for September, the market mar-ket recovered to ?2.15. No other on-lUon on-lUon but September was dealt in. to I i I any extent whaterer. Falling off in demand for corn for immediato delivery, especially to dis- -. tillers, continued to weaken the corn ' market.
