U. OF U. FOOTBALL BOYS WELCOMED Los Angeles, Cal., Oct. 20. With Coach Cromwell of U. S. C. heading the reception committee, the University Univer-sity of Utah team, which arrived in Los Angeles this afternoon to battle U. S. C. at Fiesta Park tomorrow, was accorded a hospitable welcome. Immediately after the arrival Coach Norgren 0f the Utes put his men through a light workout at Fiesta Park. The workout showed that both tho Utah regulars and substitutes were in fine condition for the battle tomorrow, to-morrow, which will be tho first game of the season here. The visiting linemen looked the giant bruisers they are reputed to be, weighing on the average 170 pounds, and the fleetness for which the Utahns in. the backfield have been touted here was In evidence. "My team will average 160 pounds," said Cromwell, "individuals will have to dope the result to suit themselves. I am frank to say I have never seen Utah play."
