It was evident Va that Wilson and King had made a I clean sweep and that Bamberger II would have a safe majority over Mor-l Mor-l ris. ' f Never before in the history of Salt Lake county was there so much i scratching of tickets. One-half of the districts of Salt Lake county which had been heard from at midnight showed 4,197 Republican, G.CG5 Democratic Demo-cratic on the straight tickets. But in these districts there were 7,451 scratched tickets and the counting of these seemed to be giving results favorable fa-vorable to the Republicans. Utah county will give a big majority, major-ity, for the Democratic state ticket, as well as electing the county ticket. Weber, Cache, Summit and Davis counties have elected their legislative tickets, according to the returns received, re-ceived, and have added to the Democratic Demo-cratic majorities In the state. President Wilson's majority in the state is figured at 10,000; King is credited with a 5,000 majority over Sutherland; - Bamberger's majority over Morris will be smaller, but decisive. de-cisive. Both branches of the state legislature leg-islature will be Democratic. Congressman Con-gressman James Mays, in the Second district, has been elected and the Democrats claim also the election of M.
