Show CITY REFUSES 10 W DAMAGES 10 IDE BSOIDBEilS The city attorney has advised the board that the city is not liable for damages in the claim of B. J. Broad-bent Broad-bent for $10, for the death of his son. Theodore .1 Broadbent, and the commissioners so acted. The Broadbent boy was electrocuted electrocut-ed a short time ago by coming in con tact with a fallen live wire leading from the high tension transmission wires of the Utah Toner & Liuht company to the abandoned city rock crusher. Mr Broadbent presented .i claim for damages to ihe city, which was referred to the city attorney The attorney holds that the city was not responsible tor the wire charged with electricity and had no control over it. |
