Show I CADE! 8ATTII1 AI I MOST SUCCESSFUL DICING PM H Fulfilling all promises, the Ogden H high school cadot battalion royally H entertnlned about four hundred guests H at a dancing party in the high school H auditorium last night. The H occasion marked the reestab- H li8hment of the annual mili- H tary ball at the school, after an in- H tarval of two seasons and excepting H - tho omission of the exhibition drill, 1 the event was as brilliant as those of former years. The auditorium was elaborately decorated dec-orated in tho national colors, flags, bunting and crepe paper streamers being utilized in artistic fashion. Tho center of tho scheme was a canopy H formed of four immense flags with H red, white and blue streamers run- H nlng from their edges to tho four H walls. Smaller flags were used for H the south and west wall decorations H and an immense edition of "Old H Glory" was the center of attraction M on the south wall, being set off at M either side by smaller editions. The H front, of the stage, below the curtain, M was covered with bunting and on the M platform immediately hehind the foot- m lights guns from the battalion armory M were stacked, lending a distinctive H military air to the picture. In a con- H tral position between the stacked H guns, a huge American eagle on a H pedestal drew the attention of the Hl I crowd. A prettily decorated punch H I booth occupied the corner of the hall, Hrl adjoining the north side of the stage M 1 and here the dancers were served H with light refreBhrnenta throughout H the evening. M The souvenir programes were "nn- Hj usually artistic and the program of M dances was one that met popular fa- m vor, the pretty and daintily gowned fl "co-eds" dancing gaily with the H brightly caparisoned cadets, to music M from Griffin's orchestra. H Preceding the military ball, the an- M nual banquet of the officers of the H battalion was held at the Potter cafe. H This was a delightful affair, the ta- H bles being tastefully decorated and H a fine menu served. Those present H Principal and Mrs. J. E. Beeson, H Captain W. E. Kneass, N. G.
