The wheels of the wagon passed over his body, leaving him a hopeless cripple. Mr. Burton was born In Nottingham, Notting-ham, England, November 2, 1855, and came to Utah when ho was 1G years of age, as a Mormon convert. For a number of years, he was active in church work and at one time wns a member of tho Ogden police department. depart-ment. He is survived by his wife and the following children: R. C. Wilson, Thomas, Sarah, Ada and Lois Burton; Mrs. Ida Ford and Mrs. L B. Greenwcll. The funeral will bo held at tho residence tomorrow tomor-row at 2 p. m., with Bishop D. H. Ensign presiding. Friends may view the body this ovening and tomorrow until tho funeral hour, at tho home. Interment will bo in the city cemetery. |
