Show oo PIONEER RESIDENT OF CORINNE DIES. Brlgham City, April 17. Thomas G. Brown, ono of Boxelder county's prominent prom-inent citizens and pioneers, died at the "Whitlock hospital in Tremonton at 1 o'clock this morning after a long illness. Mr. Brown was very ill several days before he was removed to the Tremonton Tremon-ton hospital, and at one time he was Improving, but Sunday the change for the worse camo on and he gradually Hank until death came. Thomas G. Brown was born in Provo December 10, 1861. When 10 years old he came to Corinne with parents. j A i short time afterward he went to Promontory, where lie engaged in the mercantile business. This was at the time the Southern Pacific passed through Promontory, where extensive shops were located. After being engaged en-gaged there for nineteen years, he returned re-turned to Corinne when tho Lucln cutoff cut-off was built nnd the Promontory shops removed. Since that time Mr. Brown, had been engaged in farming and stockralalng. Ho was an active community worker In Corinne and was a member ot the j board of directors of the Security Savings Sav-ings bank of this city. Mr. Brown is survived by a widow and eight children, two sons and six daughters Ono sister and a brother of Mr. Brown reside at Vancouver, j Wash., and a half brother resides in 1 Pocatello. Funeral services will be I held In Corinne Wednesday afternoon J at 2 o'clock, conducted by tho Masonic I lodge, of which Mr. Brown was an 1 j active meniber, |
