Portland is enthusiastic over the return of baseball, base-ball, and Beaver fans are predicting an attendance of 20,000 at opening game. Weather prophecy for the opening game reads: "Showers and southwesterly south-westerly winds " An automobile parade is planned prior to opening the season. Governor Wlthycombe of Oregon will pitch the first ball against the Utes. Probablo batteries for today's game are: For Portland, Higglnbotham and Fisher; torSalt Lake, Hall and Hannah. Han-nah.
