OGDEN FACTORY GETS BETTED BUTE ON FREIGHT Washington, Jan 5 Rates on cotton cot-ton linters from producing points 'n Texas, Oklahoma. Louisiana and Arkansas Ar-kansas and from Memphis, to Salt Lake City and Ogden and other points taking the same rates, were pronounced pronounc-ed by the interstate commerce commission com-mission todaA unjustly discriminatory against Salt Lake and Ogden and unduly un-duly preferential to Denver and to I the California and North Pacific i coast terminals. I J I. Smith of the Smith Mattress factory of Ogden says this ruling will do away with a discrimination which for some time past has forced the local lo-cal company to ship its cotton linters to West Weber and back to Ogden The rate has been $1.27 to Ogden and only 95 cents to Pacific coast points.
