Show FOURTH WAHD CHOIR IN THE SIXTH WAHD The Fourth Ward choir, one of the prominent musical organizations of the city, furnished the musical program pro-gram last night at the con-Joint session ses-sion meeting of the Sixth Ward Mutual Mu-tual Improvement associations. The choral numbers were directed by Orson Or-son Griffin, each one being well chosen and excellently rendered. Sam F. Whitaker and Mrs. Clifford i las-sing las-sing acted as accompanists and the program was as follows: Chorus, "Let the Mountains Shout for Joy" Chclr Tenor Solo Edward Saunders Soprano Solo... Mrs Krama Lindqulst i Chorus. "True to the Faith" Choir Tenor Solo Orson Griffin Chorus, "Come. Let Us Sing Unto the Lord" Choir Chorus, "Song of the Redeemed" i Choir The speaker of the evening was Elder James Scowcroft, his talk being be-ing a recital of missionary experiences experi-ences in Japan Both the address .'iiiu musical program were greatiy enjoyed by the large congregation, which attended the meeting. Elder James Scowcroft, recently returned re-turned from a mission in Japyn, was the speaker nnd gave a most instructive instruc-tive and interestiug talk on the Japanese Jap-anese habits and customs. |
