Show RECALLS ACCIDENT IN WEBER CANTON In Judge N. J. Harris' division of the district court today hearing of tho personal injury case of Agatha McGregor against William H, Johnson John-son was resumed The plaintiff and her husband, James S. McGregor have told the story- of the accident July 4, of this year. In Weber canyon, when the horse they were driving became frightened at the defendants automobile automo-bile and backed the rig, to which it was attached, into the river, greatly damaging the buggy and severely injuring in-juring Mrs. McGregor. Mr. McGregor said that the horse began to back the buggy in such a way that it -was cramped toward the river, the water edge of which was ahout twelve feet below the canyon road. Before he could stop the ant-mal, ant-mal, the buggy went over the bank and he and his family were hurled Into the deep water. He succeeded In getting the children out of the stream and had to swim to rescue his wife who clung to the child in her arms The horse broke loose from the buggy and swam to the opposite op-posite shore. |
