Show THREE INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE SMASH Salt Lako, Aug. 18. John McCleary of Murray was seriously and perhaps fatally injured last evening -when a motorcycle driven by his brother, Leo, and on which he was riding as passenger, pas-senger, collided with another motorcycle motor-cycle driven by Elmer J. Kessler or 1 122 South Thirteenth West, Lee Mc-Cleary Mc-Cleary recelvod severe lacerations nnd bruises about the face and body. , KesQler escaped with slight bruises. The McCleary brothers were riding rid-ing south on First West street and Kosslor was riding west on First South street The driver of each machine ma-chine is said to have attempted to cross in front of the other. Witness es said that the accident was apparently appar-ently unavoidable. The machine on whch the McCleary brothers were riding was struck by Kessler's machine ma-chine and the two brothers were thrown violently to the pavement. They were removed flo the police ,emorgency hospital. Dr H. B. Sprague, after examining them there, found that John McCleary had received a fracture at the base of the skull and ordered him removed to St. Mark's hospital. His condition condi-tion is critical. Lee McCleary, whose injuries were not as serious, waB taken tak-en to his home in Murray. Of) |
