Hammond Ham-mond c:nd was carried after much oratory. Mr. McMulleo and George M. Sullivan casting the only dissenting 016 s. Arguing against the motion, Mr Mc Mullen declared that he was still ! t i - sa opinion and that he va-s confident that there was a political deal on the between Che superintendent superintend-ent and the principal. He went oo to ray tha he had a right to that opinion, that he believed he had thor-0Ug.il) thor-0Ug.il) proved by the examination of witnesses that then, was good and sufficient ground for the opinion and that he was not accountable to any other member of he board for his opinion He had a right to criticise the employes of the school system, he added, and would stand on that right. |
