IMOB TBAT STRIKE HAS BEEN CALLED OFF IS DENIED A current rumor to the effect that the Ogden local of Federation of Rail road Shop employes had recently held a meeting and voted to call off the strike against the Harriman system of railroads, was emphatically denied today to-day by Local Secretary leonurd G. Stitzer While there has been a small amount of dissatisfaction expressed by a few members who, have been temporarily out of work, with regnrd t'i continuing the strike, the majority are staunchly opposed to railing it off accordinR to Secretary Stitzer. The probable reason he snid for a minor going out that something big" hnd happened, was that the Machinists Machin-ists loral had been visited on Thursday Thurs-day night, at if 8 regular meeting, by National Vice President Anderson of the Machinists union The visit of the official was only for social pur-Poms pur-Poms and no business of extra importance im-portance was transacted.
