Show UTAH IS -CLOSE VOTE ON SENATOR SO CLOSE FULL COUNT NECESSARY TO DECIDE Indications at 3 o'clock this afternoon after-noon were that Senator Smoot would be re-eleetod by a small plurality. The Republican headquarters at Salt Lake City place the plurality at 2.O00, but more conservative figures indicate that the Republican plurality will not reach this high While the indications indica-tions at an early hour this morning were that Smoot would lose Utah county, the vote fro mthe country districts dis-tricts outside of Provo will overcome the adverse ote in the county sent, and give the senator a small plurality in his home county. The latest reports from Salt Lake county give Moyle a lead of 800 over Rmoot with a number of county districts dis-tricts still to be heard from The country districts are giving the Fusion Fu-sion candidates surprisingly big votes but it is expected by Salt Lake Republican Re-publican leaders that the present lead of the Democratic senatorial candidate candi-date will be cut down considerable, b;. the completed returns Mays is leading Leatherwood for congress in Salt Lake county b 1000 Twenty-two districts in Box Eldr county gie Smoot 1752, Movie 146b.
