Show STREET MEETING IS BROKEN UP A F'uslon street rally that was being be-ing held at the Intersection of Hud son avenue and Twenty-fifth street Saturday night, was broken up by a workman, who refused to give hi name or political affiliation The Fusion speakers had attracted a large crowd and were getting their arguments well under way when the workman started to ask questions Somo were answered but the questioner ques-tioner continued to seek information in a tone of voice that made the oratorical ora-torical efforts of the politleians almost al-most useless. Chairman Hendc-rsho'. of the Progressive party committee finally gave up the task of answering tbe man and several police officers iried to quiet him As he was led away, the crowd fol lowed, )ealng the speakers marooned in their automobile and the latter abandoned their meeting for the night. oo |
